Has anyone got any suggestions on where I can find Next Dakota Oak furniture at a cheaper price. I haven't yet found the manufacturer to search by that but have search and found the odd site that sells it cheaper but not in the Oak colour just the darker one.
Any suggestions?

Hi
I have the Dakota range from next, cost a bloomin fortune!
Have you tried Ebay? When i was looking to buy the range i found alot of similar items on ebay, maybe worth a look.

theres a big importer on ebay that carries whole ranges but only delivers every couple of months, carriage is expensive but the furniture is a fraction of the price and good quality solid wood0

Don't forget that you can get cashback through Quidco if you shop with the Next directory0

If you have a friend who works for Next they will get 25% off.

They're fantastic - I bought all my oak furniture from them - loads and loads. All new on ebay. The stuff I bought is now sold by M&S for 5 times the price I paid (e.g. £500+ rather than £100+) It is exactly the same furniture. Solid oak, dovetail joints, etc

ps Don't bid on Saturdays or Sundays as the price goes up a lot. The trick is to buy all that you need on one night then you save lots of postage costs as they combine it. Don't got for the buy nows either as the stuff goes for cheaper in an auction. Check their feedback to see the price that people pay on average http://feedback.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=containerclearancecompany&ftab=AllFeedback
I'm up to 99 thanks - can anyone make it 100???0 -
I've just ordered an Oak sideboard and tv unit from CCC, they also trade as oakfurnitureland.co.uk.
Hope it's okay when it comes but for the price I'm not too concerned and won't be too heartbroken should it get scratched or knocked.
The majority of Oak is imported now, I was told this by quite a large furniture store near us which is very expensive.
Be careful with some of the Next ranges, some of them are just veneered, people think that they're solid cos they're heavy - that's the mdf.0 -
Thanks guys,
I can't find the same cubic style (Next Dakota) in Oak at those places ((Container-Clearance-Company or www.lifestylehome.co.uk). Maybe you got the Mango?Regards
