Property price increase

Honestly one good thing about this whole brexit mess is hopefully property will go down. Reminds me of when an entire private road which was built around 1998 had two bedroom flats and houses going for around 100k. They are now going for 3.5 to 4.5 times higher and some even higher!
I had 48k back then so i wish i could of asked my oarents to take out a loan to make uo the rest and oerhaps we both could of made off like bandits!
A freind of mine at the time said they had three flats as they inherited quite a but if money and rents them out.
I just live the idea of being a landlord and getting income for doing little work...
So much better than these pathetic interest rates.
I remmeber when they used to be 5% and apprently they were as high as 10% way back when!

From this it is quite clear that you are not a landlord and probably should never be. Being a landlord is time consuming and potentially very costly.
I don't think I know any landlords who just sit back and watch the money come in.0 -

I knew that would get a reaction. Well your one of those scaremongers which unfortunately this sote has. I am already a landlord and it’s in another country and it has been easy and i am literally collecting the cash so to speak...
I understand there are standard costs which are not too expensive and yes things will go wrong which will cost but for the most part it think you are wrong.0 -

Not at all, property ownership can be profitable, with a diverse portfolio.
If you're having success in another country then perhaps you should stick to buying more property there. Your posts tonight have shown that you don't really have an understanding of the property market, and your willingness to just jump in is somewhat concerning.
Being a landlord requires a clarity of thought, which you seem to lack with your jumping from thread to thread and from commercial to residential property. It also requires attention to detail, which the typo's and other mistakes in your posts show that you are clearly lacking.0 -

It also requires a genuine adult.
