Mis sold Laptop

I was mis sold a laptop by a shop (that has never knowingly undersold) due to the specification stated by the shop did not match the hardware, the specification from the manufacturer was also wrong, this laptop had no DisplayPort that was clearly stated on the spec sheet.
Am I entitled to a replacement that matches the spec that I thought I was purchasing?

I've just given my crystal ball a polish and want to see if it's working properly. It's telling me there is a significant price difference between the one you want and the one you got.

    Is that right?

You're only entitled to a refund.
  • Return it for a full refund and buy the one you want. You're entitled to do so, yes.

But what about compo for the trauma caused by the mis-selling? You are probably talking about a 5 figure sum here.

I'm wondering if that's a joke or you have misunderstood their slogan because that's the exact opposite of what they say.
