Rogue builder / small claim

I'v had serious issues (negligent work) with a builder. Its bad enough that the property was made unsafe but on top of that I've had to deal with threats.
In preparation for taking this to a small claims court, it appears that the company is in liquidation (I see this can be done in just 7 days). The company is in fact one person, who I would imagine is going to set up elsewhere under a slightly different trading name.
Is there any way of holding the company's assets in abeyance whilst the claim is in process?

No, there isn't. Assuming that the company has any assets that would cover your claim anyway, which is unlikely with such an outfitNo free lunch, and no free laptop

Actually I found some interesting stuff on the gov.uk insolvency service site. Given that he's an accident waiting to happen I think there are things I could do to prevent him from putting lives at risk again. Even if it doesn't work, I'll have discharged my duty. No, there isn't. Assuming that the company has any assets that would cover your claim anyway, which is unlikely with such an outfit
The money lost comes a long way down the list given the future risk he presents to the public.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!
