My partner has got his first face to face assessment Monday , previously a decision was made on paper evidence etc so a face to face was not needed. He has many mental health problems, including borderline personality disorder , adhd and ocd. The idea of the whole thing is making him ill and stressed already.
I know you can take copy's of your forms in with you and take notes, but would this be more of a hindrance when i came to the assessors decision, i see that i am not allowed to answer any questions for him or prompt him. is this correct?

If you're the appointee then you will be able to answer all questions on their behalf, otherwise they will have to answer them in their own words. Sometimes the HCP will allow you to prompt them but this doesn't always happen.0
