Estimating weight of item - ebay Royal Mail postage

    Thanks for all the replies. I have been lucky so far. I have always got it right but need to buy a scales. My best guess was an item that I estimated just under 2kg and it was something like 1.955kg.

    Not a nice game to be playing though. Definitely gonna buy some scales.

    if you are using royal mail i presume you are going to the post office to get proof of postage so why not just pay when you are there as you can use there scales ?

    Too late though when you have already listed the item and charged the appropriate postage.
