Hello,
I have a few questions regarding ADRs / GDRs:
Are these for UK investors who wish to buy foreign (eg USA) listed shares?
or
Are they for foreign (eg USA) residents who wish to buy UK listed shares?
Is there any difference in receiving the dividends?
I'm a UK resident investor, looking to buy some overseas shares (eg MacDonalds, Gazprom etc).
I already hold cheap tracker funds, but I also like to own some individual stocks long term.
