David_Fraser said: it does appear I posted 4 times but this was nor deliberate, at now 78yrs old I am not up to date on how these forums work, I didn't think it was working so I just kept pushing buttons etc.Incidentally, I have every sympathy for you having paid for this insurance policy for so many years only for it to be abruptly cancelled. However, as the thread already points out in great detail, the insurance was of little value and the company have broken no regulatory rules by curtailing it.Please also realise that paying this insurance policy is not the same as making deposits in a bank account. Once you have paid the premium, that money is gone forever unless you suffer a claimable event. Your £10,000 over the decades has contributed solely to the running costs and profits of the insurance company, but in return you had the security of (some) insurance if you became ill.Your biggest mistake was not cancelling this insurance years ago and finding a better policy elsewhere...0
