Replacing kitchen cupboard doors on a budget?

Hi all.

My kitchen cupboard and drawer doors and are grim. They need replacing, but the carcasses are fine.

My problem is that the cupboards are not standard sizes.

1x 50cm width 56 length cupboard
4x 60width 56 length cupboard
4x 60 width 16 length
1x 50 width 16 length drawer

(in cm)

What would be the cheapest way for me to do this? Does anyone know any good websites where can I order from?

They’re currently wrapped in a vinyl which I thought about removing and then painting the door, but it seemed like a lot of trouble?

TIA

The sizes indicate they are a door and drawer front combination which are standard sizes.
If you know where the units came from you can get replacements with the correct hinge locations.
They should look like this https://www.ebay.co.uk/i/333018126816?chn=ps

If not you can measure the hinge locations on the doors by removing the hinge and measure from the top of the door to the middle of the hinge hole, ie 120mm. You then find the supplier that this relates too. Howdens, wickes etc.

Rather than painting, could you cover over the doors with a different adhesive vinyl sheet ('sticky back plastic')? The B&M Stores channel on YouTube has several 'how to' videos using one such product (DC Fix).

We got new doors for some cupboards from the Kitchen Door Workshop, they will drill hinge holes for you if you wish.

Many of their ranges can be done in made to measure sizes if your doors are not a standard size.

There are several companies that offer this service

The one I've been using is Homestyle - The doors are vinyl wrapped MDF which might put some off. But the price is good, and they can do custom sizes at no extra cost.

One year on, the last set of doors seem to be standing up quite well. Ordered some more doors for a utility room - Same style & colour as the kitchen, so hopefully they will be a good match.

We got white Shaker style ones, as mentioned above, they are in the utility room and are still like new after 5 years, quality seems to be very good.

    These ones I think.......
