Highview parking charge notice at TESCO Hereford...

Hi guys. I have received a charge notice today in the post for the above store. I was in the store for 52 minutes (actually for shopping have the receipt still) not sure why I've received this though?

Can anyone tell me how I appeal it please?

Use the blue text template from the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, post #1 and Highview usually cancel within a short period of time. If using their appeal portal watch the drop down box that defaults to 'I was the driver', don't let it go with that box ticked - that's the last thing you should check before taking a screenshot then pressing the submit button.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

  • Thank you Umkomaas. I've just spoken to TESCO, seems I went over the minimum stay by 7 minutes but under the minimum spend by £1.
TESCO was my weekly go to shopping store, just not the one in Hereford.
I won't be using them again now.

  • Take it this was Customer Services, try emailing Dave Lewis Group Chief Executive.
Give him the circumstances and explain you are a regular customer, perhaps include Clubcard number, but do not feel you can afford to return.

Have a look at the thread last seen at 1.41 today posted by SCUD.

You can't get a PCN for being 7 minutes over.

It's not for that - maybe they have that system where you are meant to scan your receipt at a machine outside that holds the ANPR images of the cars.

Same as all the other Highview threads, exactly as Umkomaas said, even though it didn't need saying because this is fully covered in the NEWBIES thread.

Yes, we always win v Highview, as long as no-one blabs about the driver.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
