Help! Sent faulty item back but no refund

Hi all, need some advice

I bought a hey bracelet from house of haptics via backer kit on the 26th December 2017. After waiting a year for the product to arrive it arrived on the 28th December 2018. The product is meant to be to be a bracelet that connects to my phone via Bluetooth however it would not connect to my phone or charge therefore I returned the product to the company. This took a month for the company to reply with a returns address. I sent the product with tracked post and know it has arrived but have heard nothing from them regarding a refund. What are my rights in this situation? The company is based in Amsterdam.

Thanks,
Abbie

Wow Abbie2901 you must have a heck of a lot of patience.

Take a look at the Europa.eu site guarantees & returns. But the time lapse of delivery may indicate to you that something is not right with the seller in the first place and sadly might cause you a problem in getting back your hard earned cash.

Its like Kickstarter, you know in advance you are buying something which does not yet exist. They seem to operate as basically 'gifts with a reward' rather than a purchase or an investment. How that works when things go wrong, I dont know...
