    This was a massive gamble but you appear to have got lucky. Source good used headlights from ebay or breakers for £20 to £30 each and fit them yourself. Align them against a wall at night for aim. New suspension arm and fitting under £100.

    No one takes 12 year old Almera ownership lightly.

    That said welcome to the Almera club OP. My 2002 Almera was on 134000 miles when I traded in last year and she was barely worn in. Just at the comfortable stage for Almeras.

    A 2006 model is basically new.

    Now if you see the Almera right it will see you right. Or even if you don't.
