Universal credit - budgeting advance

Hi all I'm a single mum of two last april i went onto universal credit after starting a zero hours job, i got the advance when i first went onto universal credit and in december due to my cooker breaking had to get another budgeting advance, however sadly at the end of my dec-january assessment period my contract was terminated at work due to all the extra work i had done during the busy december period this meant my award for uc (which was paid on 16th jan) was just under £500, most of which went toward my bills which also come out on that date, however now i literally have about £5 in my purse and my anxiety is going into overdrive, will i be able to get another budgeting advance due to me loosing my job and having no other funds? as the uc page states its for household items i.e. washing machine etc. there's nothing on there to say if you have a sudden change of circumstances. any help will be much appreciated

Unless you have paid off your budgeting advance then you are unable to get another.

When is your next UC payment? Sorry, see it is the 16th February.
When you are working on a zero hours contract it must be difficult to budget properly.
Have you any family/friends who could support you until your next UC payment?
CAB may be able to refer you for food parcels. Are any other bills due?0 -
Apart from UC have you applied for Council Tax Reduction from your local council which will help with your Council Tax bill.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.0

my next uc payment is 16th feb.
Yes it was incredibly hard especially as it was only about £40-£60 i was getting a week.
I have asked some people but they're still recovering from christmas. Normally my mum would help me but shes only just returned back to work after battling breast cancer and she's in alot of debt due to being off whilst she was battling it sadly.
I have a debt with a bailiff im due to pay, sadly i have rung them and explained my situation but they have said essentially Ive made an agreement and I need to stick to it. Also have a bill due in on monday.
I only asked as I had obviously recieved an advance payment back in april and another in dec so wasnt sure it i'd be able to apply for another.0 -
Sounds to me as if you might benefit from some debt advice. Bailiffs are never going to tell you your rights.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.0
