Have you looked into no dig? So much easier and just as good, if not better than digging....I'm a fan. Hasn't [or rather] didn't let me down for the good few years when I had a massive [to me] plot. Sourcing enough to cover with was the problem in the end, but if there is still a friendly farmer there, he'll have lots of stuff you could use.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0

Thanks. No dig looks interesting, although I have to admit that I had to Google it to find out what it was.
Unfortunately, the friendly farmer is long dead and his house sold off.0 -
