Thanks, for that; I'm going to transfer the majority of the balance to my EasyMoney card. Then I'll write another transfer and save cheque to max out the MINT card. May get the First Direct card and repeat the procedure - if they don't charge fees. That will take me to 8 ccs in total and one store card.No reliance should be placed on the above.0

Having been shifting a few thousand from credit card to credit card for a few years now, I was pretty annoyed to find that they had taken 2 direct debit minimum payments when the account was actually in credit. When I rang to complain about it to ask for my money back and a £7 overdraught charge to be paid by them for their incorrect DD payment, I was told that they wouldn't be refunding the £7 charge but would graciously waive the £30 charge to give me my money back.
I can't believe they charge you for getting hold of your own money. Money taken without authority. Anyway, just thought people should know about this; I don't know how common this is.
hi, i don't know the exact situation here but why is there a minimum amount if the account is in credit? surely they have no minimum amount to take from your bank and won't take anything at all? that's what would happen with my credit cards. have you maybe set up a direct debit for a specified amount each month regardless of minimum due?52% tight0
