Half Pink Monitor - help!!

HI, I've turned on my pc this morning to find my Phillips flat screen monitor has gone pink down the right hand half!! Is there any chance I can rectify it or am I looking at a 'dead' monitor:confused: I can still see the picture and text but pictures have a fuzzy line around them.Any tips gratefully received:rolleyes:

Sounds like your DVI connection has failed, it is likely to be on the monitor side rather than the lead or the PC. I had the same issue last year and it was repaired under warranty, identical symtoms, pink screen, I checked everything and it was the monitor DVI connector.

I bet you'll tell me it's not connected with DVI.........
  • I don't think it's DVI Its like the old serial connection but half the size and fewerpins on the top half than bottom and you screw it in to the connection
  • I think it's a VGA sub D cable??
