Private car sale? Trusted sale?

Hello,
I am thinking about selling my car in a private car sale? Has anyone done that, or do you always sell
through the dealer. A friend of mind told me about something called Trusted Sale, which is supposed to
make selling my car easier. Has anyone ever heard of it? Please let me know.
Thanks,
Ann

Is this your Camero? What was wrong with the other thread you started? This is a U.K. site so we don't know much about American car sales.0

It's not immediately obvious for some of those who google and aren't aware of the history of MSE that this is a uk site since it is a .com domain.0 -

Cannot wait for the
"I sold my car for much more than I thought it was worth and what a wonderful company they were and how much they love the company that they have zero relationship with."
Your friend obviously knows about the company, they told you about it in the first place, ask them?
Nice terms and conditions, insert domain here, insert company name. Then goes on about the speed of the service you purchased. One very generic terms and conditions or they copied it from elesewhere and have not completed it.
If you lose any money they are only liable for upto.. 100 US DOLLARS..
Seems like you maybe better off giving your keys to a total stranger and say just give me some money in the distant future if you think its worth anything.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

Got me thinking though, I dont think I have ever sold a car private. I have privately sold motorbikes & caravans, and I have swapped cars - but never sold to a private buyer. thats in about 25 years!0
