I am trying to download music free from one of the Music App sites direct onto my SD card. A couple of the songs. I do not have in my collection and wish to download from a music app onto my SD card are Penny Arcade by Roy Orbison and Whats Love Got To Do With It by Tina Turner. I do have a PC with USB ports where I insert my SD Card. Can anybody help me with some suggestions please. I am not a great technician when it comes to this sort of thing so hopefully it will be a simple process. Thank you..

What is the music app?
Normally you have to pay to enable you to download music.0 -
The app in question was Spotify. We were wondering if there was a music app in existence ,where we could download older music free (like the ones mentioned in my original post) onto our SD card. Thank you.0

There's nothing special about an SD card.
So if you've found a route to download free music to your device, as an MP3 file for instance, then you can just move that file to your SD card.
Just be wary that what you're downloading doesn't come with DRMs (Digital Rights Management) that only allow you to play it on one device.
.mp3 and .flac files never have DRMs, but some Microsoft (.wma) and Apple file types may.0 -
There seems to be some suggestions on the Softronics website. Not sure if they are suitable and free. I am sure there must be oneA Website somewhere to find and download the tracks you require. Penny Arcade by Roy Orbison is one of my favourite older songs. Good Luck.0

If you have Spotify premium, then it allows for offline play.

You cannot download music from Spotify when using the Free version, you only stream it to your device via the Internet whenever you listen to it.
If you pay a monthly subscription to Spotify then you can download tracks to your device and listen to them as much as you like offline from the Internet but if your subscription lapses then you can no longer listen to those tracks.
An alternative option is to buy the cd from a charity shop for £1 or less and the music is yours for life. I got the Best of Tina Turner cd for 50p last year and it was in perfect condition. All you have to do is copy it onto your pc and drag the files onto your sd card.0 -
Plenty of youtube conversion websites. If you have a laptop download tracks to your computer and then transfer to your phone.0

I certainly would be interested to find out if there is a free music download app to put on my SD card, which I use on my tablet to save using up the memory on the tablet. I am sure there was one programme that was recommended to me for occasional use, but unfortunately I did not write it down. I thought it limited you to about 25 songs in total, then after that you had to pay. Can anyone jog my memory as to what it might have been.0
