Just received an item from this company with an advice note. I have never opened an account with this company, but after looking at all the reviews it seems I am not alone. Are they running a scam where they send out cxxx products at high prices hoping people will pay up to avoid the hassle of returning and being chased for money?

Don't dispose of it, contact them to arrange collection, do it in writing only.

How could it be a mistake? How would have my details on file. There has been no credit search by them against my name.

Have sent it back by Hermes with receipts and photographic evidence. Have you seen their reviews in Trust Pilot? 1 star?? - a company of that size?

Its the same company as Simply Be, Jacamo, Fashion World, Figleaves, Marisota and High and Mighty and a few others - Could they have your details from one of those companies?

I would've contacted them to see what they said first...

I did and all they said was the item had been taken off my account. They said that they were unable to contact the fraud dept at that time and they would call me back. That was 9.30 this morning. I have never dealt with any of those companies. Their trust pilot reviews are very poor in relation to credit accounts, chasing payments after items have been returned, false accounts etc.
