Cat eye problem

One of our cats (aged 15) appears to have a problem with his left eye - it doesn't dialate when a bright light is shone at it......

I am aware that cats rely on their eyes but is there anything that we can do ?
We took him to the vet for his annual check up/jabs and this was the result !
no clouds in the eye can be seen - and it doesn't appear to affect him

The vet tells us that - he doesn't want to operate due to the cats age !

Take the cat back to the vet and ask for further tests or advise.

He has seen the vet so I'd leave it at that.He may have lost the sight in that eye but he will cope, especially at his age. It's sad but I'd try not to dwell upon it.
Once the pupil reaction has been lost I don't think there is anything that can be done.
Waiting for an expert to come along and tell me otherwise.
