Non fault car accident-approached by at fault parties insurance

Hello everyone, first post here just after some advice! Had someone hit me from behind in the snow we’ve had recently. I’ve called my insurance to inform them but I’m not claiming as it wouldn’t be worth it.
I’ve now had a text from the party at faults insurance provider (direct line) saying that they have a free service called “third party vehicle solutions” with which they can repair my car and provide me with a courtesy car, but I don’t have to have an open claim with my insurance company, it won’t affect my no claims and I don’t have to pay my excess.
Is this something that would be worth doing? Would I have to inform my insurance about it? Is this just a dressed up version of me claiming on her insurance? As my car really isn’t that bad and I’d rather not have a non fault claim to contend with when it comes to renewing my policy!
Thanks very much in advanced for any advice

As you have already notified your insurance of the incident you will have to volunteer details of the collision when seeking any motor insurance for the next 5 years.
This can impact on future premiums although the amount will vary between insurers and how much, if any, loading they apply.
So there probably is no harm in letting the third party insurers deal with your vehicle claim.0
