GR I've always enjoyed seeing your photos of Zara, a true beauty and so very lucky to have had you by her side for so many years - 13 is a great age for a big dog. Happy belated birthday, pretty girl!

Zara sleeps most of the time but still manages a short 10 min walk 1-2 times per week.

Not bad for a 13 yo who had double hip replacement at 6 yo, both cruciates operated on at 7-8 years of age, spine problems and whatever else

Lost Teddy at 12 last year at 12, young for a cat.... Counting the days left with Zara now

Where we live there is an Alsatian and a Beagle, both 12-14 ish ( guess). Its quite sweet, they look like a couple of mature gentlemen wheezing about on the grass for a stroll.

The beagle is often carried down the steps as he is just a little too old to manage 3 flights. Seeing them wander about always brings a smile to my face.
