Euro Car Parks PCN - Set My Mind At Rest Please

Hi
My car was involved in an accident in October last year. The driver pulled into a local restaurant's car park to exchange details with the other driver. Physically and emotionally shaken the driver then went into the restaurant to grab a coffee, making them a paying customer, whilst they called for assistance to check the car could still be driven. Help arrived and confirmed the car could still be driven and the car left the car park 40 minutes later.
Because the driver didn't put the registration number into the terminal in the restaurant, just over a week later, I received a PCN from Euro Car Parks but on the advice of a friend, and having now read these forums, I wrongly chose to ignore it. I did write an email to the restaurant manager and also wrote a scathing review on tripadvisor but got no response on either of them. I have just received the 2nd letter "notice of intended court action" from DRP. Having read the forum and the newbies thread I know to ignore these letters.
I have seen many threads stating that Euro Car Parks never take anyone to court however the most recent one I can find is from early last year. I've also been on the Parking Cowboys website and can't see any instances of ECP taking anyone to court. Could you possibly set my mind at rest please and confirm whether ECP take anyone to court so that I can make a decision on what to do next.
Cheers

Spot on. Good research. For further comfort, put 'DRP notice of intended court action' into Google.I have just received the 2nd letter "notice of intended court action" from DRP. Having read the forum and the newbies thread I know to ignor
How could we possibly do that? We no longer have data to rely on. And in any case, any PPC can change direction overnight.Could you possibly set my mind at rest please and confirm whether ECP take anyone to court so that I can make a decision on what to do next.
Do next? Nothing while DRP are involved, come back if ECP up the ante with a LBC or MCOL Claim. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
