Court
I moved house and missed the court letters from BW Legal, who had previously rang me countless times so I blocked their number and have now reported it after reading a thread on here. I sent them an email (forgot to sign it from myself as my email is my name and I had the reference number) in response to their letter as there was no ticket left on the car so my friend never knew they had got a ticket. My previous landlady is a vile woman and harassed me and kept all my mail; only after the threat of involving the police did she leave me alone.
So now I have a CCJ which I found out about at the bank when I was refused a credit card!
So I have had to pay £255 to the courts to look at my letter - they have given me a court date for tomorrow. Only then have BW Legal sent me the evidence and costs that they are trying to charge me 505 for!
It was only an £85 ticket! This has made my life a misery.
I have found some useful information on here but none the same as my situation. Can anyone offer any advice please?
