Tips for writing your poem:
- Keep it short - it needs to fit on a gift card, so use no more than 30 words
- Experiment - it doesn't have to rhyme to be a poem. Try writing a haiku, or just try to capture the way your favourite booklover makes you feel (or how they feel about books!)
- Be inspired - check out the winner of last year's flash poetry competition on Caboodle, along with some of our other favourite entries
