I never applied to get child benefit for any of my 4, didnt think it was appropriate because of my husbands wage. Really was a PITA as well when it came time for national insurance numbers, if you get Child benefit they are generated automatically, if you try and do good and not take money for the sake of taking money they you have to apply for those national insurance numbers, jump through hoops to prove your child is who they say s/he is, then they have a 1 on 1 interview and get grilled like a criminal. Yes i know they need to make sure, but it makes you feel like no good deed goes unpunished..,Fully paid up member of the ignore button club.If it walks like a Duck, quacks like a Duck, it's a Duck.0 -
Nice play on the word benefit,So you didn't benefit from a state education!
The difference is very clear, try NOT benefiting from a state education and see how far you get, at worst thrown in jail, at best jumping through hoops and home educating.,Fully paid up member of the ignore button club.If it walks like a Duck, quacks like a Duck, it's a Duck.0
