Really? We've never seen one here (or PePiPoo) to my knowledge. We have confidently given the advice that they never sue on Aldi sites.
Are you sure they were exclusive Aldi sites (or multi-retail where Aldi is present)?
Any links? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

No i have no links but i can assure you i have seen about 4 claims from PE where Aldi is the sole retailer, so not part of a multi shop retail park0 -

It's so surprising if that's the case why no Aldi court case has ever surfaced here or on PePiPoo, given the significant number of Aldi standard PCNs we deal with. Disproportionate numbers at one stage, and particularly at the time when PE were at their most litigious.
If the Aldi court opportunity was available to PE, they would have been into that trough with gusto, and we would have been up to our elbows picking up the pieces. Yet never one single case. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Do you know where have you seen these 4ish claims? And what year(s) are you talking about?
I can only recall a 'Carol' stating a claim from PE on a PP blog about Aldi.
She doesn't actually mention Aldi though....Carol10 February 2015 at 07:49
I now have a "letter before county court claim" from PE. I overstayed in a car park. I have receipts to prove that I was a customer. Didn't see the parking signs or hidden camera! PE say that my appeal to POPLA has been unsuccessful (I've heard nothing myself). Any suggestions?
I didn't find her convincing then....Carol21 June 2015 at 11:16
I had receipts, but apparently they were "not enough" - they incorrectly quoted how much I had spent, but ... after receiving a court notice, and going through mediation I gave up and paid £100 fine (to include extra charges) ... they are evil! I tried hard to fight them, but in the end didn't know what to do ... I had over-stayed so felt that I had no option.

I've never seen an Aldi claim either.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I know someone who has simply ignored several dozen scumco 'tickets' from Parking eye at dedicated sole Aldi locations and Parking Eye simply keep sending letters and eventually disappear back under the rock they came from.
Never any court papers...and that's over several years duration.0
