You aren't scary, and if your attitude to a difficult situation is to suggest that your physical presence will resolve it, it will make suing you in your capacity as a landlord incredibly easy.
your chatting BS - which bit? and i have listened to what you said but it's just not realistic based on everythign i have learnt and seen in the real world. Cringe.
Literally seen hundreds, if not thousands, of posts on here from landlords who have lost thousands / tens of thousands of pounds. But you know the 'real' world of letting property, despite not having a clue about your rights and obligations.0 -

I feel i shoudl repeat this post as i think possibly it has been missed or overlooked. I would really appreciate some constructive feedback.
BTW, i mentioned i listed an ad online for a property/investment wnated. Well this person replied saying the following, would like to know what you make of it? Are they basically askign me to but a share of the freehold a si'm not intersted in going into business with a complete stranger!
I have a rent to buy property 2 bed house 2 bathrooms with garden freehold in thorntonheath
Looking to sell my rent to buy agreement with right to buy
the property owes me 80 k investment since purchase
However up for negotiations
The best way to get on the property ladder to own your own home
I can buy the property for 225k in anytime over the next 8 years fixed price
It’s market value is 345k
The pcm is £1150 until a mortgage to buy it at 225k can be afforded on it
The quicker you buyer it or rent it out or get lodgers the bigger the return profit.0 -
Also, i messaged the auction company sellingthe property and the auctioneer seemed intersted and asked me to clal him back to discuss my interest in buying the property shoudl it not sell at auciton for £70K. Another person form the auction company told me to contatc them directly should it not sell at auction also which is encouraging. I know it is highly unlikely it wont sell..0

No you wont. If that was the case you'd be listening, reading the links - not claiming ' that's BS' on anything that questions your logic.
Not sure what you expect to get from all this. So tell you what - go for it. No skin off my back.0 -

Not that there's likely to be much difference.
Are we talking about a house, flat...?0 -
Given that I'd already used the words "long lease", I'm surprised you need to ask.
No you didn;t not in this quesiton, you said:
If not for the short lease rendering it unmortgagable, what would this property be worth?
So it wasn;t clear whether you were aksing if it had a long lease or if it was freehold. I got a bit confused but i do see what your saying.
Not that there's likely to be much difference.
Long lease like 160 years on a £94K guide price auciton flat... £160,000?
Are we talking about a house, flat...?
groudn floor 1 bedroom flat i think i have mentioned this if you bother to read the thread..0 -

I took in what you said but i sitll think your being unrealistic. I'm not syaing it couldn;t happen just unlikely and based off of what typically happens in usual scenario, it is a bit unrealistic and i stand by what i said.
it's not about quesitoning my logic. It;s about reality mate and what usually happens...
I know it's no skin off your back mate and i don't care.0 -
