If it were me, I would accept the £100 compensation. Then I would either settle the account or offer a repayment schedule by regular monthly instalments.I work within the voluntary sector, supporting vulnerable people to rebuild their lives.

Thanks crispy nice to read a positive outcome
Unfortunetly I have already mentioned there was no default warning in my first complaint and they replied by saying they are not obliged to do so, therefore there was no bank error
Then at a later date raised second complaint as debt was sold Dec 2016 then registered April 2017, which they accepted was an error on their behalf, was promised all CRA'S would be informed and default date would be amended, that was nearly 6 weeks ago, still waiting for them to be updated, also been offered £100 comp which I have so far declined
Can't see how it is fair?, Unless you are a mind reader there is no way of knowing you are going to receive a default without any warning
Looking at feedback so a far I am assuming that the debt is not regulated by the consumer credit act because it was they would have broke the law with no default warning and selling the debt before registering default
If the debt isn't regulated by the consumer credit act then shouldn't it be written in the terms and conditions that they can do all of the above ?0
