Johnsons baby wipes 22p @ Asda

Options
Whilst shopping in my local Asda store (Rawtenstall, Lancashire) today I saw massive boxes of Johnson's baby wipes. I was with my friend who has a baby so we checked out the price. £2.68 for a box containing 12 full-sized packets of these extracare wipes with Aloe Vera (or something!)

Each packet contains 64 wipes, and as you get 12 packets for £2.68 we worked that out to be 22.3p per packet.

I doubt they will last long - the shelf was being stripped in front of our eyes. I bought two full boxes and I don't even have a baby! Let's face it - they are great for make-up or as a gentler alternative to loo roll (cheap enough to mop up spills too!)

If you live near Rawtenstall, dive down there and see if they have any left!

(And as Nicki said - DON'T FLUSH THEM!) thanks Nicki! :)

Don't use them as loo roll-you'll block your loo!

Hee, hee-great minds & all that. Just got visions of loads of MSErs thinking they had saved a fortune & then getting a huge bill from the plumber (unless we use Mr Freebie on here of course!).

If you put them in a lidded pot (ice cream box ?) then pour bleach over them - you have very cheap toilet, wash basin etc cleaners.

Another tip - yesterday, on one of the "keep your home clean" TV programmes, it was suggested to use baby wipes for cleaning leather sofas, as the moisturiser in baby wipes is good for the leather.

regarding using baby wipes to wipe your leather settees.... i mentioned this to the leather cleaner man that visited me recently and he dont recommend using the wipes on your leathers as its not suitable for them and could cause your leather settees to crack used regularly...though i have done it on the odd occasion when my lil one has had her sticky fingers all over the arms..but surely if there gentle enough for a babies bottom they shouldnt harm the hide of a cows!!

I spotted this post this evening, and as i've got very mucky kids, I thought "I'll just nip down and see".
Suffice to say, they've all gone....aaarrrgghhh

I'm praying they get some more in Rawtenstall Asda soon, cos the nearest deal they've got now is 6 for the price of 4 Pampers wipes.....
