If on income based and you never,or rarely go over the £6,000 in which you have 2 weeks to get the amount below the £6,000 then you can keep going over that amount in your account Personally over 3 weeks I get my ESA and PIP then a 2 week wait so you can have over £6,000, then get you PIP payment and still have one weeks ESA over the £6,000 and you get 28 days to use the PIP so on income based you can basically be over £6,000 all the time as by the 3rd payment you have 3 weeks to use whats left of the PIP and two weeks for the ESA. Any letter to see them with a view to claiming money back and fining you would be causing you harassment and stress so just tell them you are taking them to court they don't like it when you know you have so many days to get money back below the £6,000 even if its just £22 they would be laughed out of court.

I did a FOI for this and they said 14 days for the ESA or JSA and 28 days for PIP.
Someone please tell me what money is

Not sure what the rant above is about but it’s not new news that you get the time period a payment is for before anything left of that payment is counted as capital.

It says as much in the guidance.
