I have been thinking of getting a dashcam for sometime but have wondered if really worth it?


Are there any suggestion of what to get that is'nt totally cr*p?

    Yes they are worth it....as for which one to buy, do a search as its been discussed a few times.

    Depends what you mean by worth it, I fitted one basically in case of being involved in an accident so you can have a record for any police or insurance disputes, having said that it is not something that I am daily checking the recordings, it is just there and gives peace of mind.

    Personally I can recommend Nextbase as they have a good reputation and I am happy with the results of mine, though no doubt others can recommend other makes for reliability and video quality.

    I had very serious accident where I was the only witness and the police thought my driving was the cause. I had no dash cam at the time and wish I had. Luckily the crash investigation proved I was not to blame but I had a month of worry.
