Amazon exchange refurbed

Many people are actually happy to receive a replacement which is WORKING, despite being scuffed. But it sort of depends on the time-frames too (after 1 week I'd want a new one, but maybe 3+ months I'd be happy with a working refurb).
They should give you a new one after 4 weeks.
I'm not being snobby but the only second hand thing I buy are cars and houses, so I certainly wouldn't like a so called refurb. I know legally they can do it but I'd try my hardest to get a new one.0 -
I remember being quite miffed that my brand new Sky+HD failed within a short time and I was provided with a "refurbished" replacement but it has since so far lasted for several years.
So I'd try to ignore any cosmetic blemishes (unless completely unacceptable), the fact is that any "refurbished" replacement is going to have been thoroughly checked before being provided and so is unlikely to fail any time soon.0 -
I’ve had many refurb products with no issues.
You gave them a used item back, so a refurb is absolutely fine legally.0
