Got a now tv box bought ages no longer need now tv. We have set up netflix which I prefer. Do I need to cancel now tv. Ive been told by netflix that the netflix will work. Thank u for help😊

If you have a subscription to Now TV (i.e. you pay money each month, you can cancel it using their website).
If you are simply using the box for free then there is nothing to cancel.
If you want to use Netflix, just go through the set up in the Netflix app.0
