Hi all,
I wanted to share this knowledge to help others wanting to start up their own business or even if they have an idea and need support making it flourish.
There is a company called 'outset' around the country that is government funded. They offer free advice, support and courses on setting up your own business.
As you develop there are also grants available.
I'm sure there are many people who have thought about starting their own business or have started and don't realise there is this help and support available.
I've used them a few times and they've been great!:)

Sounded right up my street. Within two screens it was asking me for £85 plus VAT.
I note it's free for residents of Cornwall though.: )0 -
"Outset’s parent company, YTKO, is currently funding a small team in Cornwall in the hopes of securing a new contract, to enable a continuation of support to anyone interested in exploring starting a business."
A lot of local councils 'business support teams' run free start up guidance - and then point you to the networks and associations that can provide grants. There are courses that help with social media, taxes, marketing, growth etc. Most courses are free and are well worth going to. These are currently funded by European Dev Fund, not the local gov...so get at em while you can.
Best way to find this info is to contact your local council .Debt Free April 2019:j to July 2019NEW WTC:eek:1,194
