hollow fibre mattress protector cover lighting up when rubbing the cover

Sounds very strange right? Tonight we discovered whilst moving our hands back on forth on the hollowfibre mattress protector that where our hands touch the protector, it lights up as if it has electricity running through it?:eek:
Has anyone heard this before?

P.S This is the same thing I get when I stroke the cat on our LVT floor. Sparks will jump from my fingers to the cat's ears if I put them close by.
To be honest, the cat isn't very happy when this happens and certainly isn't as impressed as you seem to be.0 -
