Renting - satisfied CCJ

Hi all,

Recently paid off a CCJ which reared its head many years after a foolish financial period.

Long story short - I am going for a viewing for an apartment with my GF in the next few days. I have noticed on the 'fees apply' section that they run an independent credit check. It is sure to show my (now satisfied CCJ).

does this effectively mean they will not allow me to sign the contract? I am considering emailing them and being honest about it before they find out. But unsure if that's the correct course of action?

Any help massively appreciated.

Given that they will be able to see the CCJ, asking them if it will be a problem before you hand over a few hundred quid in non-refundable fees seems like the sensible course of action.
