UKCPM Parking Charge Notice

Hi,
I am completely new to all this, so please excuse any annoyance,
But the keeper of a vehicle received a Parking Charge Notice from UK Car Park Management.
Notice states reason is: Unauthorised parking
This was a loading bay, for which I was unloading things from my car.
I cannot seem to upload pictures of the notice
Please any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

NO PICTURES NEEDED , ITS FORBIDDING SIGNAGE
so no parking contract was offered
read the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread, and appeal as KEEPER using the blue text template
this will be turned down, after that its IGNORE mode unless they issue an LoC and/or an MCOL within 6 years0 -
Just to confirm, this is the relevant template you are referring to?
Re PCN number:
I dispute your 'parking charge', as the keeper of the vehicle. I deny any liability or contractual agreement and I will be making a formal complaint about your predatory conduct to your client landowner and to my MP.
There will be no admissions as to who was driving and no assumptions can be drawn. Since your PCN is a vague template, I require ALL photos taken and an explanation of the allegation and your evidence, i.e.:
- If the allegation concerns a PDT machine, the data supplied in response to this appeal must include the record of payments made - showing partial VRNs - and an explanation of the reason for the PCN, because your Notice does not explain it.
- If the allegation involves an alleged overstay of minutes, your evidence must include the actual grace period agreed by the landowner. If you fail to evidence the actual grace period that applies at this site or suggest that only one period applies, this will be disregarded as an attempt to mislead. In the absence of evidence, it will be reasonably taken to be a minimum of twenty minutes (ten on arrival and ten after parking time) in accordance with the official BPA article by Kelvin Reynolds about 'observation periods' on arrival being additional and separate to a 'grace period' at the end.
- in all cases, you must include a close up actual photograph of the sign you contend was at the location on the material date.
Formal note:
Should you later pursue this charge by way of litigation, note that service of any legal documents by email is expressly disallowed and you are not entitled to assume that the data in this dispute/appeal remains the current address for service in the future.

CORRECT, THE ONE IN BLUE (THERE IS ONLY ONE)
appeal as keeper, no blabbing about who was driving
there is no quick fix for this, so its the long game0 -
Thanks a lot,
I've read email is better than post in this regards?
and also what is a LoC or MCOL0 -
acronyms are explained in post #5 of that NEWBIES thread, please read it
use whichever suitable method of appeal they tell you on your NTK , nothing else0 -
Should I expect this appeal to be rejected? And if so, what is the next step0
-
yes
there isnt one
as I said earlier in posts #2 and #40 -
THanks a lot, I'll send off this appeal now!0
-
You can't email appeals to UKCPM. Please no asking about any next step appeal...
Read the Gladstones UKCPM court threads to see how these are won in the end.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Regarding this Parking Charge Notice:
1. UKCPM used a camera to take a picture of my car, however, on the sign the use of a camera is written very small, where it is near impossible to read naked eye
IPC Code of Practice:
PART E SCHEDULE 1:
• Text on a sign should be of such a size and in a font that can be easily read by a motorist having regard to the likely position of the motorist in relation to the sign
• Signs must
o 1. Identify yourself as creditor
o 5. Have clear and intelligible wording and be designed such that it is clear to the reasonable driver that he is entering into a contract with the creditor or committing a trespass as the case may be;
2. I parked at my business centre, where I have a valid permit to park. On this particular occassion, I parked at a marked parking bay which contains the initials of the business centre e.g. "XYZ". Surely, the fact I am paying for a permit to use the business centre's parking, I should be able to park on this bay. Also, the markings of the initials is extremely faded
3. There is no sign at the entrance by UKCPM. (I don't know if this is a strong point to make, but I've read it on the IPC Code of Practice)
I want to draft a letter outling these points. Would this be a good idea?0
