Sky

Strange question but if you have sky can you move it to another house when you move?

    Yes, so long as your new place has a view of the satellite. You can either DIY or get a man in to reinstall the dish.

    Yes, but you have to inform sky who will send an engineer to your new house to fit up a new dish.
    You normally just take the box with you when you move as Sky do not expect you to get up a ladder and get it down.

    You will have to pay the installation fee which is around £40-£60.

    Or if its like my previous two experiences, you'll take the day off work, they wont turn up, then the next day when you rebook, they will turn up, and say either

    (a) they dont have the right connectors
    (b) they arent insured to go into roofspaces
    (c) both of the above.

    Personally, i'd get a local fitter out and let sky know youve moved.

    You don't necessarily have to pay the fee - read the insider notes for a way to get the sky moving service for free :)
