Just fallen victim to a phishing scam

  • In future always always check the email header to see if it matches the sender. Very easy to spoof the sender name on emails, resulting in unfortunate situations like this. Be more vigilant in the future. You can’t be too careful in this day and age. View every ‘important’ email as spoof unless you can validate.

    Hopefully you caught this in time. Did you have a card linked to Apple ID, hopefully no spurious transactions resulting from this.

    All spammers have a special place in hell!
