    Go for the halogen oven.

Think about where it will live when not in use. If you don't have room on a work surface (for permanent storage) you will need to find somewhere large enough to accommodate the oven. A cupboard or drawer will need to be deep enough and you will have to think whether you can store the oven with the lid on, off or on, but upside down. If you choose a hinged lid model you will not have this option and will also have to consider whether the lid, when raised during use, will foul on a cupboard above your work surface.

You can buy a stand to place a lift off lid on when using the oven. I just put mine on a Pyrex mixing bowl.

Delivery was free when I bought mine not checked that now, It did come with a foreign plug but I bought an adapter from them for £4.

My digital air fryer is brilliant.
Anything goes in it . Part baked rolls, garlic bread, fish fingers, sausages,
    Chicken kiev, salmon meals.
    CLAS OHLSON AROUND 49£s

Had it a year and have not used any oil or fat in it whatsoever
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.
  • Another huge fan of the halogen oven, couldn't live without it, especially with teens who want pizza or chips at 10pm. I cook just about everything that goes in a normal oven in it. Cakes and pastry being about the only things that don't work so well.

Agree that the extender ring is essential and good point about storage. They are huge!

Another fan of an airfryer, mine was only as cheap one but works well, most things cook without adding oil I add a very little for chips. I find jacket potato's taste like oven baked ones, I do start them in the microwave and finish for 10 minutes in the airfryer. Some things like HM scotch eggs taste like deep fried ones even cooked with no added fat. As Mckneff said things breaded like fish fingers and chicken cook really well as do anything pastry based like quiches and pies
