They haven't lost anything yet - so nothing to claim

This one I suspect, but from reading it the case is still ongoing in the tribunal system.

Asda is the supermarket that I work for0

Doesn’t matter which one you work for at the moment, think they said I final decision would be expected by May.0

There are three stages to an equal pay claim. This appeal only related to the first one. Asda have actually said that they will seek to appeal this decision to the Supreme Court, but even if they aren't successful with that, there are two more stages to the equal pay claim itself before it'll be determined whether or not anyone is owed money."MIND IF I USE YOUR PHONE? IF WORD GETS OUT THATI'M MISSING FIVE HUNDRED GIRLS WILL KILL THEMSELVES."0

Surely if they lose at the final final final stage, whenever that is, then they would automatically pay any staff still working for them automatically?
I hope the OP has joined a union, because that would definitely help if they're daft enough NOT to pay automatically, IMO.Signature removed for peace of mind0 -

The work, of course, is never equal.
It’s like when it is claimed that working on the bin lorries is “equivalent” to being a dinner lady or that scrubbing out septic tanks is equivalent to polishing the floor in a school.0 -
Can't believe the claim has got this far. It's a complete scam by money chasing solicitors.Changing the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0

They will pay out if the law tells them to pay out and currently that is not the case. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
