I have received a letter dated 17.1.2019 from CDS (an Administrator) advising I owe money for an energy company (Future Energy) which went into liquidation January 2018, however, I changed my supplier September 2017 and was not with this company when it went into liquidation. If I did indeed owe Future Energy any money when I changed supplier, can this be recouped 15 months after the event?!?! Also, would Future Energy not have advised me of monies owing when I swiched? Any advice gratefully received.
