scottish power/changing tariff

scottish power has come up on my mse energy club site and price seems to be similar to what i already have with them which actually ends today.
after logging into my account to switch , the cheapest tariff showing is more than the mse one.
would they allow me to switch thru mse (as i am already with them) , as it would be less hassle, dealing with direct debits etc
also i would get the £25 cashback
oh dear just noticed, i have to agree to register interest in smart meter installation, which i dont want
