THTC suppliers

I currently have a THTC meter in my rented property and was with Our Power who have now ceased trading. Wondering if anyone might know any suppliers other than SSE who provide a THTC tariff?

I have a similar problem, I was due to switch to Our Power 31 January and received an email 30 January from Utilita saying Ofgem had appointed them supplier of Our Power customers. I called before the switch day and was told in no uncertain terms that I could not cancel the switch as it was outside the 14 day calling off period. I then asked for the tariff rates for my standard and THTC meter and the could not tell me. It was left that I would receive a letter in 3-5 days with tariff information. I called yesterday as I had received nothing and was read a statement that I was not a Utilita customer and I would be staying with SSE. It appears that Ofgem did not realise Our Power had THTC customers.... really !!!

On looking on this forum again I see a post stating that Eon would take on THTC meters, but you have to call a specialist team, do not know how to copy the link, title is "EON + THTC meter ?". I'll be calling them later, before I call SSE to see if they are aware that they are still supplying me.

The coomon advice of this forum is NEVER to attempt to switch supplier whenever you have this type of legacy metering - it invariably ends in tears.

Two more good examples above to prove the point. Thank you. :)

As Eon have withdrawn support (or will do so very soon) for 3 rate tariffs even for their own legacy customers (but have offered an alternative to support them), I very much doubt they will want to take on new customers with 3 rate metering.

My advice to you both is to contact SSE and hope they will take you back. But they are not obligated to. Some will, some won't.

Hi wavelets. One of my elderly friends has 3 rate so any links or more info re E.ON withdrawal would be appreciated.

The OP may well be interested as well.
    TIA

It's been mentioned many times by Eon
Here's one example from April 2016
