A lender can't show you a screenshot as it's confidential and not to be shared.
However:

Thanks for that. However, none of articles answered the current question: would a lender be told the type of a credit application? To reiterate, if he's not told, and he also can't see the originator of the search, then the screenshot at the start of this thread would indicate multiple applications for credit in a short space of time.0 -
Ironically Nationwide dont even show a search on Noodle and Experian.
Honestly what a mess having 3 reports is. They are all totally different! This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

One of those links - I think it was checkmyfile - mentioned FOUR reports. So it's even worse! Anyone know if this is right, and if so, who the fourth agency is?0 -

Because different lenders report to or use different CRA's.
Some use all, some don't.
MSE did provide a list, but it's not been updated for nearly 3 years, so the information is likely to be inaccurate:

Laughable, what's allowed in this country. Seems like it's open house if you want to set up as a CRA. The government needs to get a grip. Don't you need a licence or something for this? If there is no licence, then there should be, and there should only be one, or maybe two at the most, licences available.0 -

Well they're authorised and regulated by the FCA...0 -
But where are we in 20 years? Checking 47 different agencies to see if there is an error in our reports? Agree there needs to be a limit. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
