Why don't people cheer the brilliant elements of No-Deal crash- Such as making property affordable?

Because if the price of houses were to crash, that would mean the economy has crashed. Only the ignorant would believe that property can crash with everything else remaining ok.0

Because it's not going to happen. Spreading this type of scaremongering is silly
They said Brexit, and Trump, was silly, and it wasn`t going to happen, and they will be saying that the idea of the EU breaking up is silly (as it is happening) As for house prices the governor of the BOE is making HPC statements now for goodness sake! Everyone and their dog now knows that a big property price correction is firmly on the table.0 -
The key is when will the correction come and by how much. Are you prepared to put a date to it and % ?.....Didn't think so.
May not happen in your lifetime, maybe it will. Life goes on.0 -

It is though, or at least has been. People thinking that their house was a goldmine for the future and borrowing on credit cards because the house would pay it all back later has allowed politicians to hide the lack of real job prospects and stagnant wages for years.0 -

At the end of this period if I'd gifted him the house he would still be underwater compared to just keeping the house he already owned.
No good knowing the what if you don't know the when.
Depends how he invested elsewhere surely? How are you finding the tax changes for BTL?0 -

what investment could possibly be better than spending the same money you pay on rent on a mortgage and actually owning at the end of it?
Its the best investment you can ever make.0
