Pip no face to face for mental health disabilities

Hi everyone I suffer from severe anxiety and depression I also have low thyroid levels and mild asthma.. I recently got a text from PiP saying that they received my written assessment and will be making a decision within 6 weeks but I haven’t had a face-to-face, my care coordinator said they called her and she gave them information but I’m terrified they will deny my claim because I haven’t been there to speak to them and it’s giving me loads of anxiety, has anyone been successful without a face-to-face does anyone know if it’s likely my claim will be denied? It’s been racking my brain the past few days I haven’t been able to relax I think I would’ve preferred a face-to-face even though I can’t stand being outside

It's rare to have a paper based assessment but it certainly does happen. Not having the face to face doesn't mean you've been refused or awarded. It just means they have enough evidence to write a report without needing the assessment. People are awarded successfully with a paper based assessment. I wouldn't worry.

Once DWP have you report back you'll be able to ring to request a copy to be sent to you, this will give you some idea what the decision is likely to be as they mostly go with the report.
