MSE Credit Club - Experian Incorrect Information

Last month applied for a CC that used Experian. Came back my details didn't match, so they could not do the soft search. Checking MSE Credit Club I noted my address was showing incorrectly for the electoral roll.
Contacted Experian who told me they could not amend the electoral roll information because it was what the local council provided. It wasn't and Experian simply could not be bothered to look into the issue I raised.
Noodle and Clearscore both hold the correct address as did Experian previously (can view previous reports) the electoral roll information seems to have changed about five months ago.
I contacted the electoral roll department this morning who confirmed how my address appeared - I was correct nothing has changed at my end.
They list my address as a street and number, when it should be a street, number and name. The address they have for electoral information does exist (down the road, across the street...) but it is not mine.
How should I proceed with Experian, especially given they did have the correct address previously!

I had the same issue as you about four/five months months ago.
To cut a long story short (as it's almost as identical to yours), I contacted my local council's electoral dept, who then copied me in on the email they sent to Experian to make sure my address details were accurate.
Since then, nothing's changed, MSE Credit Club wise, (my address hasn't been updated) and I'm wondering whether to take out the free month's trial of the Experian CreditExpert to see if it's a problem MSE Credit Club end first before taking it up with them.
I did see someone else complaining about exactly this on a thread here a few months back too.0 -
I am having a similar problem due to an address change from a recent house move. I can see Noddle and ClearScore fine, which are still showing my old address, but CreditClub can't verify me to Experian with either my old or new address.Retired 1st July 2021.
This is not investment advice.

Are you able to check you Experian Statutory Report, or is that not working too?I work within the voluntary sector, supporting vulnerable people to rebuild their lives.

I've checked my new Noddle report Today, and it is showing my new address. It's not showing me on the electorial roll at my new address, but the info from the council was this could take 10 working days.
Clearscore is working OK, but showing my old address, but that report is only updated monthly.
Credit Club is still failing to identify me.
I will leave it a few days to see if things sort themselves out, as I think all the wheels should be in motion now :coffee:Retired 1st July 2021.
