Now that is a title that isn't seen very often.
A reminder to those who send parcels/packages and try to save a few pennies by not paying for the extra cover in the event of loss.
I sent an eBay sale via Hermes which was showing as out for delivery on the 10th Jan.. It wasn't delivered.
Total value, including Hermes' fee £37 and pence. I paid extra for up to £40.
The buyer was understanding and patient but I refunded them when Hermes declared the package "lost". Their comms have been excellent. I completed a claim form, the eBay listing number plus other information was sufficient.
A week later they advised that a refund had been made for the full amount. Now received.
However, they shouldn't have lost it in the first.:p
